Rihanna may be welcoming her bundle of joy in the near future, well, at least according to her fans — after a new photo of the mogul surfaced online.
The singer, who in April visited her native home of Barbados, announced in January, through images from a photo shoot, that she was expecting her first child with boyfriend A$AP Rocky. Despite the announcement, Rihanna has yet to share the baby’s gender and details regarding how far along she is.
On April 19, in a post shared by Twitter user @galerieRihanna, Rihanna is seen enjoying her downtime in Barbados while eating an unidentified item in front of a coconut stand.
As the photo made its rounds on social media blog sites, many claimed that the “Umbrella” vocalist’s due date might be fast approaching because of how low her belly is hanging.
“That baby done dropped.”
“Uh oh the belly hanginggggg.”
“That belly dropped ASAP.”
“Whewww that belly dropped!! Sheeee readyyy!!”
“I feel like she went from not showing at all to looking like she is about to drop.”
Among the belly remarks, others even suggested that Rihanna may have returned home to have her baby. One wrote, “Ooh she might be planning to give birth in Barbados.” Another said, “Nobody thought that’s maybe why she went home? To give birth.”
A third person posted, “Oh yeah she bouta pop that’s probably why she is at home so her baby can be born in Barbados. Can’t wait to meet ms. Riri jr.”
Fan speculation aside, no official news regarding Rihanna’s due date has been released.
In a recent interview with Vogue magazine, Rihanna, who is in her third trimester, disclosed where she would want to raise her child following the baby’s birth. While mentioning A$AP Rocky, she told the publication, “That gets difficult to say. Rocky asked me recently if I had a dream place, where would it be? I told him home, Barbados. I always imagined it being that way. But realistically it probably won’t be.”
