The couple that slays together stays together!
As the week comes to an end, Tia Mowry has found another way to leave her fans wanting more. The actress took to Instagram on April 7, to showcase the matching denim outfits she and her husband, Cory Hardrict, sported for date night.
In the upload, Mowry was seen wearing a jean romper accessorized with a denim jacket and clear high-heeled shoes. As for hair and makeup, “The Game” star rocked a slicked-back ponytail with a full face and a smokey eye.
At the same time, Hardrict complemented his wife’s look by wearing a similar denim jacket and jeans. The 42-year-old topped off his attire with a white T-shirt and sneakers.
Alongside the upload, Mowry wrote, “The Hardrict’s do denim for dinner.” As fans viewed the post, many raved over the couple’s matching attire.
“Yassss!!!! Coordination on another lever.”
“Denim and black love for the win”
“I love everything about this photo. #powercouple.”
“A couple that denims TOGETHER, remains married & in love FOREVER!!!!”
In addition to the compliments, others brought up the second photo in Mowry’s upload, which showcased the actress smiling and staring at her husband. One Instagram user wrote while calling Mowry and Hardrict “couple goals.”
“It’s the way you look at him for me best couple of the decade #couplegoals.”
Another said, “Such a beautiful couple..the way she is looking at him says it all.” In 2021, Mowry and Hardrict disclosed during an interview with “People the TV Show” the formula behind their successful union, which has spanned over 20 years. One of the secrets includes the couple’s refusal to submit to gender-specific roles.
Mowry told the outlet,” A lot of people, they ask Cory and I, like, ‘What makes your marriage, you know, a great marriage?’ And if I’m being really honest with you — and we’ve been doing this for years — we don’t focus on specific gender roles. Meaning the women should just do one thing and then the men should just do one thing. It’s a team effort at our house.”
Hardrict backed up his wife’s sentiments by mentioning how the pair teaches their two children about equality. “We’ve got a loving household. We try to teach our kids if you have equality in the house, that can bleed over into the world, and that’s what makes the world a better place.”
Mowry and Hardrict began dating in 2000, after meeting at a bus stop in Los Angeles. Six years later, in 2006, the pair got engaged. Mowry and Hardrict ultimately married in 2008.
