Rapper and actress Eve took to Instagram on March 18 to update fans on how she is adjusting to her new role in life: motherhood.
The 43-year-old welcomed her first child, a son named Wilde Cooper, with her husband Maximillion Cooper back in February.
In the Instagram Story, a fresh-faced Eve is seen holding the newborn as he sleeps. While staring at her son Wilde, she said, “Wilde, my precious baby. This is heaven. This is heaven right here.”
As the clip went viral, many expressed how deeply asleep Eve’s son appeared in the video. A couple of individuals mentioned that the newborn was “milk drunk.”
“I love when they sleep like they put in an 18-hour shift.”
“Dat baby shleep shleep.”
“Aww he is knocked out sleeping. Sweet times.”
“He outta there. Milk drunk.”
“Baby boy is drunk off of that liquid gold.”
In addition to the remarks about Wilde’s appearance, others brought up how happy they were for Eve after she achieved her goal of becoming a mother following years of fertility issues. One wrote, “Omg so precious. My heart is so happy for her.” Another said, “Aww so happy for her, she waited a long time.. gives women in their 40s hope.”
A third person stated, “My heart is so happy for her.”
Eve announced she was expecting her first child last October while sharing a photo of her baby bump with the caption, “Can you believe it @mrgumball3000 we finally get to tell everyone!!!!! You all know how long we’ve been waiting for this blessing!!! We get to meet our lil human February 2022.”
In February, following the birth of her son, Eve uploaded the first image of the infant as she revealed his full name. She wrote, Our Beautiful boy was born Feb 1st 2022 Wilde Wolf Fife Alexander Somers Cooper. Words can’t describe this feeling.”
