Legendary soul singer Diana Ross is serving soul goddess realness after her eldest daughter, Rhonda Ross, took to her social media page earlier this week, where she shared a heartwarming vintage photo of her iconic mother alongside her three beautiful children.
The sweet post tied in with International Women’s Day, which was Tuesday, March 8. The Queen of Motown was spotted front and center, striking a pose in what appeared to be a white fur ensemble alongside a young Rhonda, now 50, Chudney, now 46, and award-winning actress Tracee Ellis Ross, now 49 years old.
“This is my first tribe,” the actress captioned the photo, adding, “I am so thankful for these amazing women in my life! Empowered women empower women!” The post included several hashtags such as #InternationalWomensDay 2022, #DianaRoss, #TraceeEllisRoss, and #ChudneyLRoss.
The post appeared to send a wave of emotion to Rhonda’s Instagram followers who flooded her comments section with sweet messages and wished the star a “Happy Women’s Month,” including one fan who wrote, “MY GOODNESS, YOU WOMEN ARE ALL BEAUTIFUL, INDEPENDENT, SMART AND FINANCIALLY INDEPENDENT. MISS. ROSS DID AN AMAZING JOB.”

Meanwhile, others reflected on the trailblazing singer’s past appearances with her children, replying to Rhonda’s post, “I still love when your mom did the Caesars palace and she gave you the Mike and you sung.” That person added, “Your mom was the first women I saw on TV that women a black women can be a singer can be anything they wanna be. Rhonda isn’t the only sibling who loves honoring their mother. During an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” last August, Tracee opened up about paying tribute to her iconic mother and how her favorite thing to do is recreate vintage photos of her mom.
Still, she admitted, “Her Diana Ross-ness doesn’t hold a candle to her mom-ness,” She added, “I’m so close with my mom and my family…She made a space in the world before I got here, and that has been a part of how I’ve been able to walk through the world.”
