‘I Didn’t Need Dance Moves With All This Disappointment’: Tia Mowry Shatters Fans’ Spirits by Answering Her Most-Asked Questions

Tia Mowry broke fans’ hearts in less than 20 seconds on Monday, Aug. 16, by dishing out a series of “no” responses as she took part in a “Questions I Get Asked” TikTok challenge that included queries on possible future projects and baby news.

The actress found a way to incorporate a lighthearted feel to the disappointing announcements as she participated in the TikTok challenge. In this particular challenge, an individual partners their commonly asked questions and answers with hand movements to the beat of “The Magic Bomb” extended mix by Hoàng Read.

In the recording captioned, “Here are the #questionsigetasked often! Let me know if you have more! #fyp #trending #tiamowry #sistersister,” Mowry kicked things off by disclosing she won’t be returning to the reboot series of her former show “The Game.”

Mowry starred in the “Girlfriends” spinoff — about a group of women who have relationships with football players — when it premiered on The CW in 2006 until its cancellation in 2009. She also came back to reprise her role as Melanie Barnett in 2011 when the series was picked for a fourth season by the BET Network. The actress, alongside her co-star Pooch Hall, left the show in 2012 after season five. The announcement regarding a reboot of “The Game” came in May, initially six years after the show went off the air. Original cast members who are slated to return are Wendy Raquel Robinson, Hosea Chanchez, Brittany Daniels and Pooch Hall.

As the clip transitioned, the 43-year-old also shared that she doesn’t plan on having any more children by responding “HECK NO!!” while making a silly face. Mowry and her husband Cory Hardrict share two children together: Cree Hardrict, 10, and 3-year-old Cairo Hardrict.

Mowry’s final announcement put the nail in the coffin when she told her followers that “Sister, Sister” will not have a reboot. The sitcom, which starred Mowry alongside her twin sister Tamera Mowry, Jackée Harry, Tim Reid and Marques Houston, ran from 1994-1999. This news isn’t the first time she addressed this. Last year, the star went on “The Tamron Hall Show” and shared the sole reason why the show’s reboot won’t happen: “Some rights and stuff kind of got in the way.”

As Mowry’s video went viral, many fans expressed how heartbroken they were by the actress’ revelation. One social media user pointed out that the star participated in this challenge so she could finally be left alone.

“I didn’t need dance moves with all this disappointment‼️ you can give us at least two episodes MED SCHOOL!! I still love you!!”

“Well damn everything a NO 😂😂😂 she look good tho 😍”

“Just got my heart shattered in seconds lol.”

“Damn well that escalated quickly lol.”
