‘I Want Fat Joe to Narrate My Life’: Fat Joe Trends After Offering Side-Splitting Commentary on Dipset and Lox ‘Verzuz’ Battle

While folks on social media continue to break down what might’ve been the greatest hip-hop moment in “Verzuz” history, another rapper began trending thanks to his hilarious summarization of the musical battle between legendary rap groups Dipset and The Lox.

To let rapper Fat Joe tell it, one would probably be highly upset that have missed Tuesday night’s event at Madison Square Garden in New York City — whether there in person or streaming it online.

In a 47-minute Instagram Live session posted to his account on Wednesday, Aug. 4, the Bronx native gave a side-splitting review of how things went down, which also provided tons of new soundbites and GIFs for fans to use.

It was clear the “Lean Back” emcee could not contain himself during or even after the show. Joe said he was so overcome that he even admitted that he was tempted to pull a “Lil Mama” and rush onstage to join Styles P, Sheek Louch, and Jadakiss — whose performance and antics that night took center stage.

“So, I’m sitting there adjusting my mask. Just when I thought it couldn’t get better, Jadakiss comes on and goes, ‘Aye, Harlem, I’m really outside, You know, [inaudible],'” the star said, displaying his best impersonation of the rapper before beatboxing the tune of Ja Rule’s “New York,” which featured himself and Jadakiss.

“I got a hundred guns, a hundred clips, man, I’m from New York … the place … erupts. I lose my mind. I’m going f-cking apesh-t CRAZY! I can’t control the passion,” Joe continued. “Now I was neutral, but when the sh-t come on that I’m on, I f-cking lose it.”

Fans on social media couldn’t get enough and flooded the timeline with their reactions to Joe’s response, including one Twitter user who wrote, “If you don’t narrate the story like Fat Joe don’t tell it to me 😂.”

Journalist Brain “B.Dot” Miller crown the rapper, as “the greatest raconteur ever.”

“This the type of content I pay wifi for 🔥🔥🔥 ,” wrote a third. “Great to see my idols and a million strangers all across the globe still passionate bout the art of Rap, makes me feel am not alone when it comes to the ish that excites me.”

A fourth person wrote, “Fat Joe tell stories like the OG who comes to the barber shop but never gets in the chair.”
