“Today you transitioned 🕊❤️,” she captioned the post. “It’s been a hard few months but If I can find the positive, I’m glad you no longer have to suffer. I love you forever pops. Daddy’s girl forever.”

The reality star revealed in June that her father was diagnosed with stage-four esophageal cancer. Upon learning the devastating news, she and her husband “Neek” Bey brought him from where he resided in Louisiana to Chicago so that they could care for and support him through his treatment. Michael’s death comes almost two years after Bey lost her mother, Glenda Walker, to a heart attack on October 23, 2019.

Fans flooded Bey’s comments to express their condolences for her loss.

“Your parents were able to see you graduate, get married and have a baby. They are pleased. You did a wonderful job of taking care of them.”

“Sending prayers 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾he is reunited with his queen 😇😇😇”

“Oh man she has lost both of her parents may God bless her and keep her close to him…😢”

Bey remained transparent with her fans throughout her father’s battle, sharing that he experienced seizures and memory loss while undergoing chemotherapy. The most recent update she posted before his passing was on June 30, when she let her followers know that he was “doing so much better.” “We all look so crazy and tired but just wanted to share that my dad made it back to his home in Louisiana 🤞🏽❤️‍🔥” she wrote. “So glad we made this happen for him. He is doing much better and I’m so happy for his progress. It’s a fight but one that he will win!”
