Dwyane Wade decided to steam things up on his Instagram page on Thursday, July 22, after the former basketball player uploaded a semi-nude photo of his wife, Gabrielle Union. In the initial snapshot, the actress was seen posing in a bathroom as both mirrors from opposite sides of the room captured every angle, including Union’s plump rump.
Wade assumably had his wife’s backside in mind when he complimented Union’s timeless beauty by praising how good she looks for being 48 years old. The caption read “This is 48” alongside a peach emoji, which is often used to describe a butt in digital communication.
The “L.A. Finest” star reposted the upload while sharing a graphics interchange format or gif of the character Tina Belcher from “Bob’s Burger’s.” A gif is a short animated picture.
This isn’t the first time the couple has made headlines for admiring each other’s as well as their own physical attributes. In January, Wade commemorated his 39th birthday by posting a half-naked photo of himself as Union’s shoulder covered his private area. He captioned the post, “Birthday behavior 39 is already looking up.”
Despite receiving tons of compliments from millions of fans, Wade’s children’s reactions to the upload, however, were anything but approving. Zaire Wade, 18, mentioned how it wasn’t ideal to wake up to the initial image. He said, “This isn’t what I wanted to wake up to.” Zaya Wade, 13, the retired star’s daughter, told her father to chill. She wrote, “Ayooooo chill, I just got on.” Although Union and Wade’s youngest addition, Kaavia James Wade, has her personal Instagram page, it is unclear who wrote a comment under the account, being that she is only two years old.
An unidentified person pointed out under Kaavia’s respective Instagram page that her father may be going through a mid-life crisis. That person said, “Thought I had more time before his midlife crisis.”
Following Wade’s semi-nude post going viral on social media, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Drew Sidora recreated the snapshot with her husband Ralph Pittman Jr., as did some other social media users.
