Boston Celtics star Tristan Thompson doesn’t appreciate folks flirting with his off-and-on girlfriend Khloé Kardashian, especially not her ex-husband Lamar Odom.
On Friday, July 9, Lamar was spotted in the comments section of Khloé’s steamy bikini photo she uploaded to her Instagram page. The former couple tied the knot in 2009 but officially divorced in 2016, three years after the reality star initially filed to end their union. Over the years, the former Los Angeles Lakers star has been very vocal about missing the bond he shared with his ex-wife and her famous family. However, he was apparently a little too vocal and bit too thirsty when he commented “Hottie 🔥🔥😍😍❤️🥰🥰” underneath Khloé post.
Tristan — who shares 3-year-old daughter True with his current ex — caught wind and seemingly threatened the former athlete’s life while taking a jab at his past struggles with substance abuse, writing, “@lamarodom God brought you back the first time. Play if you want, different results 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️.”
The “first time” the 30-year-old was perhaps referring to was a 2015 incident in which Lamar was found unresponsive at a Las Vegas brothel following a near-fatal overdose as a result of mixing drugs and alcohol. He was in a coma for three days before he could breathe independently and was eventually transported to a private rehabilitation center in California to recover. Khloé was still legally married to the star at the time and played a significant role in his recovery — along with the assistance of a drug called ketamine, which he said was administered to him in small doses under supervision in session.
Fans in the comment section did not find Tristan’s comment funny, especially given his public record of cheating on the former “Keeping Up the Kardashians” star. The exchange since went viral, and folks across social media platforms tore into Tristan.
“Tristan Thompson thinks its a good idea to threaten a n-gga who won an olympic medal on CRACK????? Ok,” wrote one user.
Another commented, “Tristan Thompson got some nerve to be getting defensive about Khloe Kardashian when bruh has cheated on her with females from every area code.”
“Tristan is trash for that comment to Lamar,” expressed a third.
“Tristan threatening Lamar over a woman he cheats on like it’s a job????” said a fourth.
Neither Lamar nor Khloé has responded to Tristan.
