Halle Berry is showing some more love to her boyfriend, Van Hunt, but this time it’s for his special day. On March 8, she wished her a “Happy birthday” by sharing a photo of her sitting behind him smiling. The next two slides are of a video of Berry laughing while asking him multiple times “where are we?” He replies, “Trinidad,” then “I don’t actually know,” and finally he says “we’re in heaven.”
Under her post, she wrote, “A real woman can do it all by herself, but a real MAN won’t let her. Happy birthday VanO. I only wish I’d known you sooner so I could have loved you longer!❤️” The 51-year-old responded to Berry, “thank you, Bb. these r beautiful words. i love you and i’m so glad that bday spanx r still a thing 😲.”
Fans gushed over the couple in the comments. One person said, “I am so happy you found love. You are so deserving,” and another said, “Finally a happily ever after..we all wanted it for her❤️🇨🇦🌈.” Someone else wrote, “Black love is wonderful.”
Since his birthday fell on International Women’s Day, Hunt decided one of the ways he would celebrate his birthday would be by shouting out the important women in his life: his mother and Berry.
He first shared two photos of his mom and then two photos with Berry. He wrote, “thank you for the bday wishes. it’s so special to share a small part of International Women’s Day with the date of my birth. every day on every continent is IWD. special thanks and tribute to my Momma and to Halle.”
The “Catwoman” actress confirmed that she and her R&B singer boyfriend were dating last year in September. Wearing a shirt that had his name on it, she captioned the Instagram post, “now ya know” along with a heart and a foot emoji.
