Having children changes a person, but the bond between a father and his daughter arguably is unmatched. Recently, rapper Ludacris shared a lesson he learned while being a father to his girls.
On Friday, March 5, the “Fast & Furious” star uploaded an adorable clip of himself and his two youngest children, 7-year-old Cai Bella and 5-year-old Candence Gaelle Bridges, during a family vacation at a beach. In the video, which starts off panning over a beautiful view of the water, the two little ones could be seen covering their dad in beach sand.
A dubious Luda looks into the camera and says, “You know they say sand is a natural exfoliant for the skin.” He jokingly added, “But what do I know? I’m just a dad that’s on spring break with his kids.”
A voice, which seems to be that of the rapper’s wife, Eudoxie Mbouguiengue, was heard in the background asking the girls, “So you guys put this on Daddy,” to which the girls gleefully responded yes as Luda also shook his head in agreement. “When You are a Girl Dad, You damn near say Yes to everything 🤦🏽♂️,” the rapper-turned-actor captioned the precious post.
The clip was viewed over 366,300 times by fans gushing over the sweet moment. One user complimented the girls’ sand-covering efforts, stating, “Your girls build the BEST sandy person I’ve EVER seen!” Another person quipped, “Out here looking like Sammy Sosa 😂.” “This is beautiful! Your children will cherish this when they get older! 👏👏” a third expressed.
Other fans showed Luda some parental sympathy, including one user who wrote, “I feel ya hommie! But there’s nothing better than Dadlife! 👏🙌.”
The “Southern Hospitality” emcee is dad to three beautiful girls from three women. Luda welcomed his eldest daughter, 19-year-old Karma Bridges, in 2001 from a relationship with an attorney in Atlanta. He began dating his then-girlfriend, Gabonese model Eudoxie in 2009. During their relationship, Luda fathered Cai in 2013 with a longtime friend, Tamika Fuller.
On Dec. 26, 2014, the actor popped the big question to his model girlfriend, and the couple married later that same day. They welcomed their daughter Cadence in June 2015.
