‘That’s On Shea Butter Baby’: Ari Lennox ‘Natural’ Body Causes a Frenzy on the ‘Gram

Ari Lennox was embracing her own beauty on Jan. 27 when she uploaded a video discreetly showcasing all parts of her body in a one-piece black bodysuit.

Lennox, panning the camera from side to side as she switched angles giving fans a view of her cleavage and backside, donned the look with a full face and box braids in an updo. The vocalist used the sultry video to announce to her fans that her furniture arrived at her home. She said in the caption, “My furniture came.” The star’s message was sidetracked as fans repeatedly complimented her natural figure.

“😍 Natural Bodies and Melanin 💕”

“Lil momma been working hard in the gym. She looks great.”

“ITS THE NATURAL BODY FOR ME !!”

A fan referenced Chloe Bailey from Chloe x Halle and her dominance in the social media world. “She said Chloe ain’t the only singer with her thang thangin! 😂”

“And that’s on SHEA BUTTER BABY!!!”

As most of Lennox’s fans’ overlooked the 29-year-old’s caption regarding her furniture, others couldn’t stop mentioning it. One posed the question as they viewed the bare room. “Where is the rest of the furniture?”

Another wrote the furniture was the least of their concerns. “We ain’t checking for no furniture, respectfully.”

“Ain’t nobody worried bout no daaaammn furniture 😈🔥.”

An Instagram user joked that the “Shea Butter” songstress has been waiting for this furniture forever. “I feel like you’ve been waiting for furniture for two years now!!! 😂.”

In November, during an interview with Allure magazine, Lennox disclosed the struggles of decorating her new home. “I find I have to, once again, be still and accept that I can’t do everything that I want right away. That’s been hard to accept because I like to watch a lot of home improvement shows. To know that I can’t do everything in one day or in a month, [knowing that I can’t] fix everything I want to fix is driving me crazy.”

She added, I’m practicing just being content in not being able to change much, but I do little things. There’s an antique store not far from me and I’ve found some of the most beautiful, beautiful gems in there: Beautiful antique mirrors and nice rattan furniture. Cool, vibey stuff. I’ve found ways to decorate here and there at a slower pace.”
