Kandi Burruss is proving once more to her “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast mate Porsha Williams that she might be an “auntie,” but she is going to look like a mighty fine one.
On Monday, Kandi uploaded a short video to her Instagram giving her fans a closer look at one of the outfits she wore on the latest episode of “RHOA.” The video shows her wearing a black leopard print long-sleeved mesh bodysuit, and black pointed heels. Walking aimlessly by a pool, Kandi’s fans can see just what the 44-year-old is working with as her curvaceous hips sway.
“I was 17lbs extra back then but I made it work for all the ‘Aunties’ out there🤣 🤣🤣,” she wrote on the video, referring to Porsha’s comment on Sunday night’s episode of “RHOA.”
In this episode, the ladies arrive at Kenya Moore’s hosting gig that is taking place in a beach house on the Isle of Palms, South Carolina. That night Moore hires a company to do a murder mystery and, while Kandi, Kenya, and cast member Tanya Sam are actually focused on solving the murder, the other ladies, including Williams, are drinking, twerking, and messing with the actors of the murder mystery.
Kenya comments that the inebriated ladies were “embarrassing,” and that they were acting like “rabid hyenas!”
After Kenya solves the mystery the group splits off into two rooms, with Kandi, Cynthia Bailey, and Kenya in one, and Porsha, Shamea Morton, Drew Sidora, Falynn Guobadia, Tanya, and Marlo Hampton in the other. Porsha proceeds to refer to the women in the other room as “aunties” because they are “judgy” and “prudes,” and refers to herself and the ladies she is speaking to as “nieces,” because they know how to have a good time. Shamea made Kandi aware of Porsha’s comments and was not a fan, which explains why Kandi wrote that caption for her video on her Instagram Story.
While Kandi looked amazing in her outfit, fans were more concerned about her walk than they were with her clothing.
One person said, “I love kandie but babyyyyy that walk is stiff.”
Another wrote, “Girl just own it you a auntie who cares bout to break your neck trying to prove nothing to them 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️.”
