Will Smith might play a little too much for his fans after revealing the latest prank he pulled on his oldest son, Trey Smith.
While sitting on a private jet, Will can be seen nodding his head asking if the video was “recording” before he points over to the side. Once the camera person follows where Will is pointing, viewers can see Trey lying down, sleeping with his mouth open. The camera then pans back to Will, and he pushes his chewed-up gum out of his mouth. Carefully holding it between his pointer finger and his thumb, Will leans over and pretends like he is about to drop the gum in his son’s mouth. Trey, still sound asleep, wiggles his mouth a bit but still keeps it open. Will retracts, leaning back to his seat as he laughs.
Anxious fans commented on the video with one writing, “Omgggg I was screaming NOOOOO the whole time😩😩😩😭,” while another added, “Imagine if it accidentally fell in his mouth.”
But other fans were not nearly concerned with the prank as they were with how much it seems Will is starting to resemble his infamous TV father from “Fresh Prince of Bel Air.”
One person said, “Will’s lookin more and more like his ol Uncle Phil…”
Tagging both Trey and Trey’s mother, Will’s ex-wife Sheree Zampino, in the funny video, Will captioned it, “I wasn’t gon’ do it! 🙂 I jus’ be playin’.”
Zampino jokingly responded to the “Bad Boys” star, writing, “Messing wit my baby.”
The 52-year-old spoke about the divorce to his first wife on the “Red Table Talk” Father’s Day special with his current wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. Jada asked Will to talk about the concept behind being a good father even if you are not a good husband.
“With Sheree and with Trey, that was a really difficult time. Divorce was the worst thing in my adult life; divorce was the ultimate failure for me,” he said. “I’ve been hurt a lot in my adult life, but I don’t think anything touches the failure of getting divorced from my 2-year-old son’s mother.”
Will and Sheree were married for about three years from 1992 to 1995 before calling it quits. Although their relationship was rocky at first, Jada, Will, and Sheree all maintain a cordial relationship with each other now.
