Kevin Hart and his ex-wife Torrei Hart entertained millions of fans when the former couple coincidently took part in the “JuneBug” challenge on Jan. 25. The viral TikTok challenge involves people doing a dance called “Junebug walk” in various locations to a snippet of SpotemGottem’s song “Beat Box.”
Torrei, who initially uploaded her clip first on Instagram Reel, is seen in her kitchen dancing as she pours an alcoholic beverage. The clip transitions to her dancing on top of her counter while holding the drink. The 42-year-old’s stance remained the same as she shifted from her backyard, shower, elliptical machine, stairs, and toilet. Torrei asked for the public’s opinion when she captioned the post,“How did I do 😂#junebugchallenge #fun #silly.”
Kevin posted his video a short time later on TikTok while in a sports arena. His various shots were taken in different places of the stadium. The comedian captioned the recording, “Look ma I’m June bugging 😂😂😂.”
The challenge eventually got picked up by the Shaderoom, where the exes were placed against each other when the blog site asked who dominated the dance. Torrei quickly responded, “We both won!!!! That’s my dog for life.” Despite Torrei’s commentary, fans felt otherwise and listed the mother of two as the clear winner.

A fan jokingly brought up how the former couple was competing against each other: “Not battle of the exes 😭✋🏾.”
As many fans deemed Torrei the clear winner of the TikTok challenge, some brought up how the videos apparently showcased what attracted the two to each other: their respective comedic abilities. One wrote, “They showing y’all how they made them 2 kids and why they got divorced at the same time. 😩😂”
Another said despite the pair splitting up, they looked like they’d shared many laughs in their past. “I see why they couldn’t work together because they both obviously so foolish I bet they have some good laughs though!!! 😂🤣❤️ #Torrei4TheWin.”
An Instagram user added, “Ion care I see what attracted them to each other.”
Torrei, who shares two children, Heaven Hart, 15, and 13-year-old Hendrix Hart, with the “Ride Along” actor, opened up in a 2017 interview about her failing relationship with her ex husband. She said, “When I met him, he was selling sneakers. He started to get fame and I’m kind of feeling a little left behind. We grew apart.”
Their marital problems ultimately led to Kevin having an affair, something he admitted in his comedy special. Torrei added, “I have an ex husband who has repeatedly used me in his stand-up routines. For years, I had to endure that.”
The couple finalized their divorce in 2011. They’ve since worked to co-parent their children amicably.
