‘Sis Don’t Wanna Get Into It with Sheree Hunnie’: Shereé Whitfield Claps Back at Latoya Ali’s ‘Ghetto’ Remarks on ‘Watch What Happens Live’

Shereé Whitfield took to Twitter on Jan. 25 to respond to Latoya Alis “ghetto” comment during a special episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” celebrating Kenya Moore‘s 50th birthday. The show’s guests also included — alongside Whitfield, Ali, and Moore– “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Cynthia Bailey.

Whitfield, who participated in a segment called “1,2, Agree or Disagree, a game where the stars displayed their cue cards to the specific scenario listed, explained one of the reasons why she didn’t print out her cards was because she didn’t have any ink.

“Lol, didn’t hear the #ghetto comment at ALL! Was asked LAST min to print, chile my ink was dried tf out & probably have been since Feb! I chose to give yall interesting walls & texture.. an amazing backdrop #AMBIANCE so in short my focus wasnt on paper but instead #chateauSheree.”

Many fans communicated that Ali’s remark toward the SHE by Shereé creator was unnecessary and that the “RHOA” newbie needed to be humbled.

“Latoya needs to tread lightly … sis don’t wanna get into it with Sheree hunnie.”

“Latoya reminds me of a girl who talk so much 💩 until she meets the wrong one 💯.”

“LaToya is showing herself to be problematic. Lol. How dare she call an OG ghetto. Girl bye. It was nice seeing you on #WWHL and I hope it is a foreshadowing of things to come. You’re missed and sorely needed. Hope to see more of you.”

“Some of these newbies gotta humble themselves.”

The comment incident occurred when Cohen asked the ladies, “A true friend will be honest with you if your wig is a mess?” As Moore, Ali and Bailey lifted up their personalized “agree” card, Whitfield held up a piece of white printer paper with the word “agree” written in permanent marker. As the 51-year-old briefly mentioned the card, Ali responded, “Why is your sign ghetto?”

As many sided with Whitfield, some suggested Ali’s comment was all in good fun. One wrote, “It was all in fun. Both shaded accordingly don’t make it more than it was. But the sign was ghetto. And she did give us scenery chile. 😂.”

Another mentioned despite the “ghetto” remark they felt the pair would get along with each other. “LOL you gave us everything we needed…& Latoya was just having fun w/ you…I think you two would be a great time!!”

An Instagram user felt Ali wasn’t trying to be shady.”Lol she said it out of fun. Don’t think she was being shady.”

The game’s other topics consisted of situations that occurred in the hit Bravo franchise such as ruining a friend’s engagement, and informing a friend if their husband is cheating. As it came to an end Ali was named the winner with nine points because she shared the most similar answers to Moore. Whitfield came in a close second with eight points.
