‘Eat It Up Kelendria’: Kelly Rowland Does ‘Walk’ Challenge Celebrating Month Nine of Her Pregnancy

Kelly Rowland is having a blast on her TikTok and looking incredibly gorgeous while doing so in her ninth month of pregnancy.

Just a few short days after announcing her presence on the popular social media platform, the former Destiny’s Child member was back with another video, this time doing the ‘Walk’ Challenge, not to be confused with the “Stank Walk” challenge. In this particular trend, a person struts as if they’re on a runway to the sounds of media personality Saucy Santana’s song “Walk.”

For her attempt, Kelly showed her growing belly through a skintight black, sleeveless bodysuit. Kelly completed her look with a pair of patent leather thigh-high boots and dark shades. After fluffing her voluminous curly hair, the songstress flexed down a pathway. The “Coffee” singer captioned the post, “9 months and ready! WALK.”

The clip garnered over 578,600 views within two hours of its posting as fans went wild, flooding the comments section with compliments, fire emojis and handclaps.

One user commented, “You can’t tell me God didn’t do his thang when He made woman!” They added, “She can create life and look good while doing it. 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽.” Another person wrote, “The sexiest nine months pregnant woman I’ve ever seen😍🔥.”

“Eat it up kelendria 😍,” a third expressed. A fourth person wrote, “She won the challenge purrr💅🏾 now we waiting on the #bussitchallenge 😌😌😌.”

The 39-year-old has been promoting her parenting guide “Whoa Baby! A Guide for New Moms Who Feel Overwhelmed and Freaked Out” and recently opened up about how she and her husband and manager, Tim Witherspoon, find a healthy balance for sex since raising their 2-year-old son Titan Witherspoon.

While talking to “Entertainment Tonight,” she revealed that she was ready, while Tim wanted to adhere to the mandated six-week period. “I’m like, ‘No, Let’s go!’ I’m still a mom, and it doesn’t matter,” Kelly explained. “I’m a woman and I have physical needs.”

Last November, the “Motivation” singer revealed that through a series of breathtaking photos for Women’s Health magazine that the couple was expecting their second child together. Kelly wore two different orange gowns and a handful of two-piece crop-top sets that displayed her growing belly on a beach.

Independent journalism still matters.

We hope this story was worth your time. For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed Black-owned and independently run. We didn't get here by waiting on ad budgets that were never built to prioritize us. Our readers did that.

Corporate support for Black media has always been thin. Outlets like ours get roughly 1% of the $170 billion spent on U.S. advertising each year, and that margin is shrinking further as advertisers walk back the DEI-linked commitments they made in 2020. That's the backdrop. It's not why we're asking.

The wider picture isn't any steadier. Newspaper ad revenue has fallen more than 80% since 2005, and local newsrooms are closing at a rate of roughly two a week nationwide. When outlets go under, it's rarely the ones built to center a Black perspective from the ground up that get to stick around.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
