‘A Man Who Changed My Mind’: Amber Riley Reveals In Instagram Post that She Is Engaged to Boyfriend Desean Black

Amber Riley recently announced that she is entering an exciting new stage of life — she is engaged!

On November 23, the former Glee star revealed the happy news on Instagram with a loving photo of herself and fiancé Desean Black.

“There was a time when I thought I didn’t want or deserve this kind of love. I’m looking at a man who changed my mind,” the singer and actress captioned the sweet snapshot. “My time by myself, loving on myself, getting comfortable with myself, prepared me for you, and prepared me for this.”

“I am so proud to say, I am the future Mrs. Black. I love you @deseanblack_official and I thank you for your patience, your friendship, and your partnership!” she concluded. “What God has joined together, let no man separate.” #HappilyEngaged #Engaged #BlackLove.”

Black also shared the photo and included as his caption: “Fellas, when a woman looks at you like this, it’s a clear indication that you’re doing the right thing. Now, when she delivers unconditional love that you’ve never experienced, it’s another clear indication that you’ve found the one.

“Only a fool would let someone as special as this slip away. So I did what any wise man would do and put a ring 💍 on it,” he continued. “I love you to pieces @msamberpriley, or should I say the future Mrs. Black 😍.”

There is not much known about the course of the relationship. In October, Riley introduced Black to the world as her boyfriend via Instagram by indicating that she first pursued him online by messaging him first.

Black is also something of an enigma, although his Instagram profile alludes to a career as a fitness trainer, and describes him as an “Entrepreneur – Fitness and Fashion Savage” and “Future Doctor” who currently resides in Houston.

However, his vague background didn’t discourage a barrage of admirers from emulating Riley and attempting to contact Black through his DMs. In an October interview on Melyssa Ford’s YouTube show “I’m Here For the Food,” Riley noted that presenting Black to her followers did raise his profile in a somewhat troubling way. She called the women who flooded his messages “disgusting” and “nasty,” saying, “Just so you know, he shows me everything. “

In spite of the unwanted attention, Riley made sure to signal that her relationship remained rock-solid. On her Instagram post of the YouTube clip, she added “And we’re laughing at y’all.”
