21 Savage Pays Tribute to Younger Brother Following Fatal Stabbing

Rapper 21 Savage is mourning the loss of his little brother, Terrell Davis. The 27 year old was stabbed to death in London, according to the Daily Mail.

Davis reportedly was killed at the Blenheim Gardens estate in the district of Brixton on Sunday, Nov. 22, after getting involved in an argument with a friend “he’d known for a long time.” The person allegedly lunged forward and stabbed Davis. The young man wasn’t said to have had any enemies and mainly focused on his music. Davis was a drill rapper and went by the stage name TM1way.

The incident took place after Davis had taken some shopping items over to his grandmother’s house. He was found later, around 6 p.m., and pronounced dead on the scene. Authorities haven’t identified the name of the victim, but his family was notified. No arrests had been made as of Monday, Nov. 23, as the investigation is ongoing. Police also noted that Davis’ death was the third killing to occur in that area over the weekend.

21 Savage, whose real name is She’yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph paid tribute to his sibling on Monday, Nov. 23. The rapper shared two photos on his Instagram page, one that featured the two of them when they were younger and the second snap a three-part collage photo of Davis. “Can’t believe somebody took you baby bro I know I took my anger out on you I wish I could take that sh-t back,” the rapper captioned the comment-restricted post.

The “Bank Account” rapper lost another sibling to violence. During an interview for The Fader in 2016, the rapper revealed that his younger brother Quantivayus “Tayman” Joseph was shot and killed during a botched drug deal. The rapper later got a tattoo of a dagger between his eyes in honor of his sibling. Before the incident, 21 said that the two men had agreed to get a blade tattooed between their thumb and index finger, similar to the one Tony Montana has in the iconic film “Scarface.” Joseph had gotten his ink on his face, so after his death, 21 did the same.
