Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade‘s daughter Kaavia James Union Wade never takes a day off from serving shade, not even on her birthday.
The Wades celebrated their “Shady Baby’s” second birthday on Nov. 2 by hiring a face painter to transform Kaavia into an adorable little tiger, but, by the looks of it, baby girl wasn’t moved by the artist’s work. As her little friend appeared to look on in encouragement, the birthday girl stared into the mirror with an expression that clearly reads, “This ain’t what I asked for.”
Union, who is no stranger to her daughter’s facial shenanigans, made fun of her perturbed look in her caption. “When the finished look doesn’t match the reference photo. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 🤣🤣 @kaaviajames @crosby_sparrow face though 💀💀

The “Being Mary Jane” actress shared a heartfelt message on Kaavia’s birthday summing up her daughter’s vibrant personality, along with a sweet video of the youngest Wade growing up right before our eyes.

Kaavia’s dad, the former NBA All-Star, also posted a sweet social media post dedicated to his baby girl on her born day, which he also shares with her mother, writing, “November 7th was always a special day in my life because it’s my Mothers birthday but now it’s times that special. Happy 2nd Birthday to my BOSS @kaaviajames🎈🎈🎈aka Shady baby aka 2020 Meme Mood😂Thank you for providing laughter and joy to our lives and so many other families!”
