Legendary comedian Mo’Nique joins the list of celebrities and fans who received a unique package containing the second installment of Beyoncé’s highly anticipated Adidas X Ivy Park collaboration.
Earlier this year, many people missed out on their chance to secure pieces from Beyoncé’s first collection from her athleisure brand following its relaunch with Adidas. Like most, fans had to watch her celebrity friends flaunt around on social media, looking chic in burgundy and orange jumpsuits.
Recently, the global superstar dropped another assortment. Again, many watched from behind their cell phone screens as stars like actress Marsai Martin and Beyoncé’s protégés and vocal powerhouses Chloe and Halle Bailey stunned in hues of coral, neon yellow and mint.
With each celebrity receiving a box, the presentations got more and more creative, including the “Parkers” star who recently took to her Instagram page with a special video displaying several looks from the Ivy Park capsule.
“Hey, my sweet babies,” Mo’Nique started the one-and-a-half-minute clip standing in front of a rack of clothing. “So last Sunday, I received this beautiful delivery from my sweet sister Beyoncé, and it was the Ivy Park Plus Size collection. Thank you so much, Beyoncé.” The actress then told viewers, “And big girls, we asked for it and we got it. So let’s see the magic our sister Beyoncé is giving to us.”
The comedian showed the different outfits, transitioning seamlessly from one look to the next against the official Ivy Park backdrop.
The styles included various items, such as a coral-colored pantsuit with a matching bra and a yellow jumpsuit. The clip was viewed over 154,000 times. “BEYONCÉ YOU DID THAT❤️,” Mo’Nique captioned the post. She added, “Hey my beautiful PLUS/FULL SISTERS. Our sister Beyoncé was thoughtful & considerate when she did for US. Thank you @beyonce 🥰p.s. @dwightholtjr my baby, you are so special and an incredible young man. Your directorial debut was AMAZING.”
Fans gushed over the presentation and the star’s ongoing body transformation, which social media followers get to see through her postings documenting her health journey and workouts.
