Many celebrities, including R&B songstress Ciara, are jumping for joy as Joe Biden is elected as the 46th president of the United States, with Sen. Kamala Harris as his vice president.
The mother of three took to Instagram to discuss the election with her daughter, Sienna Princess Wilson, her first child with husband Russell Wilson.
“Sienna’s reaction to the election is priceless 🤣🥰. #GirlPower,” Ciara captioned the video.
Ciara said ecstatically to her daughter, “Si Si, Mama, how amazing is it, the first woman vice president is in the White House, and she’s a woman of color?!”
“Mmhmm,” the 3-year-old responded to her mother.
“It’s so amazing; we can do anything we put our minds to, right?” Ciara asked Sienna.
“Yeah!” Sienna said, before repeating her mother’s question. Sienna then powerfully said: “Go, Girls! Go, everybody!”
Ciara was elated by the response, saying, “We did it! Joe Biden is the 46th president!”
Sienna was also ecstatic to hear the news and happily noted that “COVID’s over, yes, yes, yes!” before the 35-year-old jokingly corrected her.
“No, no, no, COVID’s not quite over sunshine, but I believe President Joe Biden is the right president that will get us on the right track.”
Fans gushed over the singer announcing the election news to her daughter and giving her motivation.
