‘Nanana Boo Boo’: WNBA Player Te’a Cooper Dishes Petty Response to Royce Reed for Throwing Shade After Dwight Howard Accidentally Shared Texts On IG Live

Social media users were left confused on Monday, Oct. 12, after “Basketball Wives” reality star Royce Reed decided to throw some shade at her ex, Los Angeles Lakers center-forward Dwight Howard. This after Howard accidentally exposed text messages between him and his fiancée, WNBA player Te’a Cooper, on his Instagram live while celebrating the 2020 championship win by the Lakers, which makes for the first for Howard.

“So tell me,” the person believed to be Cooper begins. Howard’s response isn’t visible behind the Live feed but a response from the woman reads, “Ahhh must be true.”

“You coming at me about something and I don’t even know,” responded Howard.

“Turn up tonight have fun,” she says to which Howard replies “What friends” before the Live is ended.

Reed, 40, felt the need to get some things off her chest regarding the matter. “Damn…Imagine it being one of the happiest moments/days of your life and someone who’s supposed to be your sanity and celebrate with you comes at you with some childish drama for the world to see…. how embarrassing. You Knew what you signed back up for…” Many followers felt “The First Lady” actress’s post was pointless because the conversations can’t be seen and it also had nothing to do with her or the former couple’s 12-year-old son, Braylon Howard.

After receiving backlash, Reed attempted to bring some clarity to her previous comments with another post that, continuing in the same vein, had a hint of shade.

Cooper eventually caught wind of Royce’s statements and the two proceeded to go back and forth with each other on social media. The former Baylor athlete seemingly taunted Reed when she posted a photo of her and Dwight with “Nanana boo boo” written across the top.

One fan felt the timing was questionable, given the fact that Reed signed a gag order back in 2009 that prohibits the “BBW” alum from discussing any of her personal business with Dwight and their son, and if she breaks the binding contract she is forced to cough up $500,000, according to Vibe.com. “Chile this coming from someone who couldn’t legally say he was her bd on bbw.”

Although Reed and Howard’s dating timeline is unknown, the two did develop a relationship when the reality star was a dancer for the Miami Heat and Orlando Magic, the latter for which Howard played. The couple later welcomed their son in November 2007. Since the birth of their son, the exes have been experienced many custody battles and legal woes, but, in 2019, it seemed like things were looking up when they reunited for their son’s elementary school graduation. She captioned the post, Last night my Munch graduated from Elementary School WITH Honors! To see the growth from Kindergarten to now is so amazing to me. Time really does fly. My heart, my world, my biggest achievement. To know me is to know him! My REAL LIFE! Braylon, I can’t promise to be here for the rest of your life but I can promise to love and be here for the rest of mine and infinity! I LOVE YOU MooMooMunchkinAngelfaceBabycakes”

The current status of their relationship and how this latest shade erupted is unknown publicly.
