Rihanna ‘Healing Quickly’ After E-Scooter Accident Leaves Her Face Bruised

Rihanna is healing after having an accident on her electric scooter.

On Friday, TMZ released pictures of the singer in Los Angeles sitting in a black Escalade in front of a Los Angeles restaurant. The photos show her with multiple swollen bruises on her face while waiting for the staffers of the restaurant to bring out her meal.

A paparazzi was able to snap a few photos after catching Rihanna outside of her favorite restaruant, Giorgio Baldi. It is reported that she initially had sunglasses on but eventually took them off.

Rihanna’s rep told People magazine that “Rihanna is completely fine now but flipped over on an electric scooter last week and bruised her forehead and face.”

The rep also stated, “Luckily there were no major injuries and she is healing quickly.”

Hundreds of fans were commenting their wishes for her to get well soon.

“Love is Blind” ‘s Lauren Speed-Hamilton commented on her own experience with e-scooters, saying, “This happened to me. The brakes gave out and I almost went in an intersection at full speed! I had to jump off. I warn everyone against those scooters! So d*mn dangerous. “

Previous to the crash the Fenty Beauty founder released her gender-neutral skin care line, called Fenty Skin.

In a recent interview with Vogue, Rihanna details why she made her skincare line gender neutral. She says, “Men love their skin, and they take care of it, but they feel obligated almost to only use products that are for men because anything beyond that feels too feminine, it’s not for them, they’re not allowed, they don’t have permission.”

What fans of RiRi can also look forward to is a documentary spotlighting her day-to-day life in entrepreneurship, fashion, and skin care. Actor and director Peter Berg confirmed the news that he has been working on the film for the past four years. The doc will give the audience a more private look into Rihanna’s world, personality and family.

Berg shared, “She’s a remarkable woman, who every day seems to grow and branch out into new businesses and new endeavors at a rate that it’s almost hard to keep up with. So every time we think we’re going to finish the movie and put it out, she does something like start a fashion line like Fenty, or her lingerie line, or her skin care line.”

It was announced last year that Amazon bought the rights to the project for $25 million. It is expected to be released in summer 2021.
