‘This Was So F–ked Up’: Tahiry Jose Fans Shower Her with Support After Boyfriend Vado Seemingly Attacks Her on ‘Marriage Boot Camp’

Tahiry Jose is currently the topic of conversation after an upcoming episode of “Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition” shows her believed to be ex-boyfriend Vado physically assaulting her.

A clip of the altercation was posted on Wednesday, July 29, by the show’s host Dr. Ish Major. It showed Jose and Vado discussing their relationship issues with the doctor and their cast members during a group session. When the model tried to explain why she was so “aggressive” with the Harlem rapper, he leaped out of his seat, yanked Jose by her shirt and yelled, “You lucky I don’t f–k you up, yo!” Dr. Ish quickly intervened and pulled the “Hated” musician off of her while fellow cast members sat by and watched. Some fans accused Vado of choking Jose.

It’s unclear what sparked the altercation, but on the episode Vado claimed Jose threw an apple at his face. Dr. Ish tweeted about the attack and wrote, “This is not ok y’all! Never. Ever. I couldn’t believe it happened. Everybody froze. We’re going to do everything we can to make it right @TheRealTahiry 🙏🏾🙏🏾#HipHopBootCamp.”

Jose, the ex-girlfriend of rapper Joe Budden, also addressed the incident via Instagram and said she was “devastated.”

“Let me be CLEAR for all the people that are saying that this was “scripted” it is NOT! As a woman that has already suffered physical abuse at the hands of a man why would I ever want to relive that? There is no check big enough for me to EVER play like that!” Jose said.

The “Love and Hip Hop: New York” star thanked her fans for “the love & support” she’s received and asked “for just a moment of privacy” as she figures out a way to “address this publicly in full detail.” The current “Marriage Boot Camp” season began filming last August, so it’s not clear what Jose means by needing “a moment of privacy” to address an incident that happened several months ago.

In a now-deleted Instagram post, Vado blamed the controversial clip on “great editing” and claimed he didn’t “hit” Jose.

He also suggested on Twitter that Jose was the “aggressor” and said he was wrong for attacking the reality TV star.

“I get it y’all don’t kno me but those dat do know dat I’m 1 of da most humblest mannered person there is,” Vado wrote. “Wit dat being said did I lose my cool? Yes I did cause regardless of what I should had never grabbed her by her clothes. As a man we suppose to protect our lady.”

It’s unclear if Jose and Vado are still together, but judging by Jose’s social media, the pair appear to have split up.

The “MBC” clip has sparked several reactions from Twitter and IG users.

“If he will do this on national television, imagine what he’d do behind closed doors. Run sis, far away as fast as you can! Praying for you Tahiry.”

“This is real sad. And the reaction to everyone in the room (basically none) is so upsetting. Not 1 man intervened except the Dr 🥴.”

“You gotta check & he gotta check being on the show. No need to defend the obvious. Y’all came together, y’all leaving together. .. Sorry I don’t feel bad for her. ..”

“Every situation is different and I’m not saying this happened with him but sometimes women will literally do the most including physical and verbal abuse and be surprised when someone lose their control lmao it doesn’t make sense. @vado_mh U human at the end of the day slime 😒.”
