Erica Mena is one parent who’s clearly made the decision to shield her new baby from social media.
The “Love and Hip Hop: New York” star gave birth a few months ago to a daughter with husband Safaree Samuels, and has shared beautiful pictures of their new bundle — but none include her face.
Mena took to Instagram on Sunday, July 12 and uploaded a video of her 5-month-old daughter moving her legs and feet while lying in a stroller. The clip showed a portion of the child except for her face.
“She loves Emilio Pucci and ruffle socks 🥰💕 All from our favorite place,” the 32-year-old mother wrote.
Instagram users urged Mena to show the infant’s face. A fan commented, “You trying it. I can’t wait to see her.” Another person agreed and wrote, “Awwwwh Yook at them Yittle Yegggggo’s !!!! Girllll show us that pretty baby already !!!!”
Someone else added, “Why don’t you show her beautiful face? I already know she’s as cute as a button.” One person remarked, “No name, No face ??? I wish we could see her already! What time was she born?”
Last month, fans also skewered Samuels over the same issue after he shared a photo of their daughter on Father’s Day and wrote, “Keep what you love sacred world!”
Mena and Samuels reportedly welcomed their baby girl on Feb. 3. They have yet to reveal their child’s name and Mena said she won’t be showing their daughter’s face to the public anytime soon.
“Maybe one day but honestly don’t wait on it. Showing her isn’t part of our plan at all,” the model tweeted on Feb. 25 after social media users begged to see the child.
Mena celebrated her daughter turning 4 months old last month with a lengthy Instagram message. She wrote on June 12, “She is four months now ♥️She is the perfect mix of her daddy and I. She was made with so much LOVE. I wanted to share this with all her internet aunties who actually send real love her way.”
