Safaree Samuels and his wife Erica Mena definitely won’t be sharing pictures of their infant daughter’s face anytime soon.
While Instagram can be a great way to keep fans in the baby loop, Samuels has decided now just isn’t the time to show his 4-month-old to the world.
The “Love and Hip Hop New York” star shared a beautiful photo of himself and his daughter to social media on Sunday, June 21, but the pic didn’t include the child’s face. The new father took to his Instagram page and wrote, “I love being a girl dad. Today made me really realize how blessed I am to be 1… the way she looks at me when she smiles is everything! I’m never gonna miss a moment!”
“It feels so good to have something so beautiful in a sometimes ugly world,” the “No Regular Girl” rapper continued. “Keep what you love sacred world! Happy Father’s Day world! I love you wife thank you fo this gift 🎁.”
Samuels’ post didn’t sit well with users who continued to beg him to reveal his baby’s appearance. A fan asked, “When do we get to see how the baby looks 😔.” Another person commented, “When we gonna see her first. Show that beautiful baby.”
One person defended the first-time father and told folks “he don’t owe u nothin.” Another user chimed into the conversation and wrote, “I understand if he doesn’t want to show his baby yet. Him and Erica really don’t have to. Get off his sack!”
Mena and Samuels welcomed their daughter in February. The couple haven’t revealed the child’s name and, like her husband, Mena too won’t be showing their baby’s face to the public. She tweeted on Feb. 25, “Maybe one day but honestly don’t wait on it. Showing her isn’t part of our plan at all.”
Samuels and Mena’s daughter is their only child together. The model also has 13-year-old son King Conde from a previous relationship.
