We all know that Tamar Braxton is all for “Love and War,” so true Tamartians recognize that the singer-songwriter won’t ever go down without a fight. The reality star of “The Braxton Family Values” recently dropped a bombshell on Twitter when she hinted that her boyfriend, businessman David Adefeso, was not going to wash the dishes, explaining that she refused to clean them too.
“These dishes has been in the sink for 2 days !! i swear he has no idea of my level of petty. We will wait this sh-t out till thanksgiving,” Tamar concluded in a Wednesday, July 8, tweet with a shrug, weary face, and laughing emoji.
Tamar’s tweet received numerous comments from fans expressing the idea that she should cave and clean the dishes. “No don’t do that. Wash them dishes. Keep your kitchen right,” someone advised. Being that Tamar’s boyfriend is Nigerian, another user jokingly said with laughing emoji’s: “Girl he’s African , you ain’t gonna win this one! You Betta wash em or throw em away.”
Tamar and David met at a mutual friend’s birthday party in 2018 following her separation from her now-ex-husband music producer Vincent Herbert. Tamar and Vincent got married in 2008 but split after nine years of marriage in 2017. Last summer, a judge granted a “status only” divorce to make Tamar officially single. It’s unknown how the former couple split their assets.
The 43-year-old television personality and Vincent are parents to their 7-year-old son Logan Vincent Herbert. While Logan is Tamar’s only child, it’s possible that she will have more in the future. The Grammy-nominated artist explained in an April interview with Wendy Williams that she desired to have babies with David, sharing that she wanted him to marry her first.
“I would love to have a family with David, but, like, we gotta put a ring on it first. You know what I’m saying. I can’t have a bunch of baby daddies running around here. That ain’t cute, I already got one,” she said while laughing.
