Alexa, cue “Versace” by Migos. On Tuesday, June 29, Kandi Burruss posted a photo on Instagram that showed her dripped in the designer clothing. The reality star of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” shared the image to promote her “Used to Love Me” virtual ball in honor of Pride Month in June.
In the glamorous picture, Kandi wore a black bustier bodysuit with a gold-and-black Versace print cardigan that retails for $1,450. The mother of three sported a polished gold belt around her stomach. She paired her outfit with thigh-high boots and a $2,900 Versace handbag. Kandi traded in her signature black locks for a platinum blond blunt cut that effortlessly complemented her snakeskin sunglasses.
“This is how I’m serving #InternationalRunway but I can’t wait to see how y’all bring it to the #UsedToLoveMe virtual ball tomorrow night!” she wrote. Almost instantly, fans gravitated toward Kandi’s pant-free photo and complimented the “Xscape” alum on her new appearance.
One user gushed: “This is one off your best looks by far🔥🔥🔥🔥💥💥💥.” A second fan commented: “Biiihhhhhhhhhh!!! 🔥😍 You did tf outta that sis @kandi❤️.”
Other fans expressed the idea that Kandi favored singer-songwriter Mary J. Blige. Someone said: “Yasssssss Kandi J Blige 🤣🤣🤣❤️,” followed by another who commented: “Giving Mary J vibes ❤️.”
Kandi has rocked many fabulous looks over the years, but she explained in a 2014 interview with Hype Hair that she prefers to wear her hair short. “A cute bob cut always works great for me. It’s so hot in Atlanta. When I wear it long, it just seems like the hair just sticks to my back in the summer,” she said. At the time, the singer-songwriter explained that she wore a hat whenever she was unable to go to the hair salon, but that no longer seems to be the case.
Kandi revealed during part one of the season 12 “RHOA” reunion that she styled her own hair and put on her own makeup for the event, explaining that she was social distancing because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
