The mother of two, 38, uploaded a video showing the emotional reaction of Khale, 24, to a custom-designed cake she bought him for the holiday. The confection was adorned with red hearts and sweet images of him and their 10-month-old son Tobias Khale.
“Damn, I almost don’t want you to eat it,” Niko said smiling and looking at the cake in awe. He told Cole that his gift was “amazing” and added, “Thank you so much baby.”
The “Love” singer had another surprise up her sleeve for Niko. She penned a sweet message to her lover and expressed how amazing of a father he is to their little one.
“Happy VERY FIRST FATHERS DAY!!! @nikokhale This one is a special one! Reflect on this journey, that’ll be a FOREVER one!!!!” Cole wrote. “@tobiaskhale is the most awesome baby!! I see so much of me I’m him!!!! Omg!!!! And I see a lil bit of you in there 🙄 Too 😂😩 Naw but, he’s such a special gift to share TOGETHER ❤️ Enjoy this Father’s Day!!!! You do so much! Her loving message to Niko instantly sparked reactions from her Instagram followers.
“That’s so beautiful!!”a fan exclaimed. “A very lovely gift to your partner 😍😍.” Someone else added, “Amazing love the respect you have for each other god bless you all ❤️. That is 🔥 That is something to keep❤️”
Another social user continued to swoon over Cole’s post and commented, “That’s so dope and thoughtful your baby so adorable bless u ❤️ happy father’s day handsome.”
Niko also appreciated the gesture and remarked under the singer’s post, “🤞🏾❤️ you gave me the greatest gift.”
The “Heaven Sent” artist and Niko welcomed baby Tobias in August 2019.
The first-time father referred to their son as a “blessing from the Lord” and wrote in a Nov. 19 Instagram post, “Never knew a love like this 😢 My first born. My reason. My sonshine. ☀️🕊 I love you with every part of my existence baby boy.”
Cole is also the mother of 10-year-old son Daniel Gibson Jr., who she shares with estranged husband and former NBA player Daniel “Booby” Gibson.
Cole and Niko seem extremely grateful for their family. The “Sonshine” rapper wrote on Dec. 26 alongside a family portrait, “The real gift is FAMILY 🤞🏾 #MerryChristmas.”
