Trina Braxton walked down the aisle for the second time in December 2019. The “Braxton Family Values” reality star married businessman Von Scales in a lavish ceremony in St. Louis, Missouri, and now she’s recreating her magical day for a magazine cover.
On Monday, June 15, Trina posted a thread of behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram that showed her wearing a white wedding ball gown that contained a sweetheart neckline. The former “Sister Circle” talk show host wore her goddess locs in a half-up, half-down hairstyle. Trina modeled outside of an event space in Atlanta’s West Midtown district as the city skyline radiated in the background. In one striking image, the R&B singer turned to one side to pose for her shot.
Trina didn’t use any words to describe her image, but one fan had quite a bit to say about her bridal looks. “Trina is soo pretty. Mrs. E has gorgeous daughters… Trina is pure 🔥🔥🔥 in all those gowns. Von put a ring on her quickly…” In comparison, another fan gushed about her marriage. “So happy for you and VON! VON’s lucky😍.”
Trina and Von met through a mutual friend in 2015, and Von proposed to her in March 2019 during her sister Tamar Braxton‘s birthday trip to Napa Valley. Trina was previously married to software developer Gabe Solis from 2013 to 2015. The former couple have two sons together. Gabe, a Mexican-American man, passed away in 2018 from cancer.
In an exclusive interview with Atlanta Black Star in February, the 45-year-old Trina opened up about having black love for the first time. “My relationship with Von is so much different than any other relationship I’ve been in. It’s black love. I’ve never had that before in my life, and it’s the most amazing thing in the whole entire world. I love it. He’s a joy. I love him,” she said at the 00:20 mark.
