Marjorie and Steve Harvey’s Post Goes Left When Fans Think He’s Her ‘Father’

Steve Harvey apparently is looking a little different, more specifically older, according to some fans of him and his wife, Marjorie.

In a photo Marjorie Harvey posted to Instagram on Tuesday, June 9, users accidentally mistook Steve for his wife’s father.

The fashion blogger’s selfie showed the couple posing with their fists up, while wearing a “I’m a Georgia Voter” sticker. A makeup-free Marjorie posed in casual attire with her mask on while the “Kings of Comedy” actor also wore a mask over his face and sported athleisure wear.

Marjorie urged people to “vote” in her caption. Instagram users applauded the pair for voting early, but a few people confused Steve for Marjorie’s father, adding that he looked “old.”

“Pops still going to the polls we have no excuse 🙏pops,” a fan wrote. When a different person assured the man in the picture was “Steve Harvey,” the fan replied, “I Thgt that was her father but now👀.”

A second person commented, “Steve look old as a mug!!” Someone else swore up and down that Steve was “Marjorie’s dad,” but a fan corrected the person and responded, “No that’s uncle Steve.”

One person did suggest that the talk show host looked “in shape,” which comes as no surprise due to his recent weight loss.

In April, Steve posted a video about his favorite NFL team, the Cleveland Browns, when he claimed he’d shed a few pounds.

“We wanna make the playoffs period, that’s all,” he said, referring to the Browns. “I ain’t got no time for haters, if you don’t think we going to the playoffs don’t even comment, thank you. Yeah, you see me slimming down too.”

In March 2019, the comedian started a following a vegan diet.

“Let me tell you something. I’ve been doing this since January 4, I got to tell you, I do feel a lot better,” he said on his former television show “Steve.”

“I kid you not…I have the cholesterol levels of an infant. My cholesterol numbers are lower than my cardiologist’s cholesterol numbers. You can eat your way healthy. You are what you eat.”

It’s unclear if Steve is still following his plant-based diet, but he’s apparently still losing weight.
