Angela Simmons’ son Sutton Joseph, 3, only has eyes for one woman.
Instagram couldn’t handle the overload of baby SJ’s cuteness when he declared his mother his girlfriend. On Monday, June 8, Simmons took to Instagram to share a video of her friend asking SJ about his current love life.
“Do you have a girlfriend?” Simmons’ friend asked the toddler. Without any hesitation, SJ looked at the camera and responded, “Yes.” He continued, “Her name is Angela.” When the friend asked who Angela was, Simmons’ son replied, “Mommy, mom.”
The lovable, unfiltered moment inspired a slew of commentary from social media users. One fan brought up rapper Yo Gotti who’s known for his famous rap line, “I gotta crush on Angela Simmons.” The person wrote, “Yo gotti somewhere punching the air right now 😭.” Other fans were smitten by baby SJ’s words. Someone wrote, “😍awwww him soooo cute and handsome I know that’s right Sj this is too cute your mommy is all yours.” Another added, “Omg!! My heart can’t take it he’s thee cutest thing! Lol he said MY MOMMY!!! Lol all mine”

In the photo, the 32-year-old single mother shares a sweet kiss in front of the ocean with her toddler son. She added in her caption, “Woke up so grateful. So filled with love . Baby boy is my heartbeat 💓 💫 #SandnSunIsMyFuel ❤️”
An Instagram user told Simmons it was a “great pic” and added that there’s nothing “better than the love shared between mother and son!”
SJ is Simmons’ only child. She shares him with her late ex-fiancé Sutton Tennyson. The businessman was tragically gunned down in Atlanta in November 2018. He and Simmons were split up at the time of his death.
A day after Tennyson’s death, Simmons posted a series of touching tributes to him. “Thank you for leaving behind my greatest gift,” she said alongside a series of family photos. “I promise to hold SJ down in every way I promise.”
