‘They Not Ready for This Body Sis’: Fans Crush Over Toni Braxton’s Bikini Pic

Toni Braxton recently flaunted her summer-ready body in her latest Instagram post. On Memorial Day, the 52-year Braxton showed off her snatched figure in a revealing two-piece black bikini.

In the photo, Braxton’s hair flowed down her shoulders and the singer-songwriter struck her pose in front of the mirror in her closet instead of near the water. The “Living Legend” hinted in her caption that she was terrified to soak up the sun despite California opening up some of its beaches amid the pandemic. “MEMORIAL DAY weekend. Beaches are open & Iโ€™m beach body ready…๐ŸŒŠbut Iโ€™m too scared to go.๐Ÿ˜ฌItโ€™s still COVID-19. Yโ€™all stay safe !” she wrote.

The reality star of “Braxton Family Values” has been taking extreme safety precautions during the outbreak. In 2008, Braxton was diagnosed with lupus, a disease that occurs when the immune system attacks its own tissues, so the seven-time Grammy-Award winner is at a higher risk of catching the coronavirus because of her compromised immune system.

Toward the end of March, Braxton posted a photo on Instagram that showed her rocking a Louis Vuitton face mask. She revealed in her 2011 memoir “Unbreak My Heart” that having lupus is similar to having the flu every day. In a February interview with Prevention, Braxton explained that she learned how to manage her symptoms by cutting down performances, resting, and following a healthy diet. “Iโ€™m becoming plant-based. Iโ€™m in the process,” she said. Braxton is a pescatarian and shared that her blood work has gotten better since she stopped eating meat.
