Wendy Williams resumed production of her self-titled talk show a few weeks ago. The 55-year-old television personality has been airing her show live from her Lower East Side apartment in New York City, and people have had plenty to say about what they’re seeing in the space from which she’s been broadcasting. Williams recently shared that she has been working on a couple of at-home projects in addition to filming her talk show. Her newest creative venture left fans convinced that she loves junk in her bachelorette pad.
Williams posted a photo to Instagram on Tuesday, April 14 that depicted her standing next to a pretend elephant made out of rawhide. Williams, a mother of one, revealed her elephant was originally black, but she painted the creature with a cheetah print pattern to enhance its appearance. She explained she went to London a few years ago and was fascinated by the painted elephants displayed around the city.
Williams named her pretend creature Cynthia. She asked fans to send her pictures of their creative projects, but they were more concerned about the amount of clutter displayed in her home.
“Wendy you are a hoarder of cute things but a hoarders nonetheless lol,” one user wrote.
A second fan said, “I love you Wendy! But your house so damn tacky omg ๐ฏ๐๐๐๐๐๐คฆ๐ฝโโ๏ธ.”
“Wendy you have so much stuff in your apartment Betty Boop look crowded,” a third user mentioned.
A fourth fan commented, “Her apartment look so confused.”
“It’s only Aunty Wendy who can turn an elephant into a leopard ๐๐๐๐”
A sixth fan jokingly wrote,”Wendy I donโt know if youโre creative or just drunk… either way… make me one.”
Williams filed for divorce from Kevin Hunter after 21 years of marriage last April. The two allegedly paid over $2 million for their luxurious Livingston, New Jersey, home in 2009. The former radio personality moved out of their estate in August and now pays approximately $15,000 per month for her three-bedroom, three-bath apartment in New York’s Financial District.
