Romeo Miller has been very critical of his former love interest Angela Simmons for posting provocative photos on social media, but Miller posted a shirtless photo of himself to Instagram on Sunday, April 5, and his opinion about sexy pictures seems to have shifted. The reality star from “Growing Up Hip Hop” implied that thirst trap photos never bothered him, and now his fans are calling him a hypocrite.
The “My Girlfriend” hitmaker wore a pair of gray joggers as his washboard abs glistened for the photograph. The 30-year-old actor seemingly gave fans a glimpse of his shelter-in-place life, posing for his photo in front of his at-home arcade and suggesting he needed to shave.
The “Jumping The Broom” star jokingly told his fans he needed a significant other to make his stay-at-home period suffice. Miller’s followers were not laughing and appeared to be upset with him for posting a steamy photo of himself after he publicly shamed Simmons for hers.
“You talking about the pictures Angela post and all you do is post pictures shirtless,” one user wrote.
“@romeomiller private life – private body,” a second user said.
A third user wrote, “@romeomiller you said what you said and that wasn’t right. Double standard because she’s a woman. A Beautiful woman at that.”
A fourth fan playfully said, “@romeomiller Go check out @angelasimmons Insta! You’ve got competition!! 🤣.”
“Ang is better off away from all that fake nonsense,” a fifth commented.
A sixth user said, “You can post pictures but Angela can’t… got it.”
Miller was receiving a lot of backlash and addressed the situation in his comments. He revealed his message pertaining to Simmons sexy photos were taken out of context on their reality show. “Or maybe a tv show had their network producers edit footage a certain way for click bait. It’s tv 🤷🏾♂️ plus I love a good thirst trap from a woman ha 😉,” he confessed.
Miller and Simmons seemed to be interested in one another during Season 5 of “GUHH,” but the pair seemingly called their friendship quits on the Dec. 5 episode. The New Orleans native sat down with Angela’s sister Vanessa Simmons and vented about the problems he was having with Angela.
Miller revealed he thought Angela craved the spotlight and slammed the reality star for her sexy online photos. “Your sister don’t have to do certain things, man, but you know Angela, she likes that camera,” Miller explained. “Your sister [and] NBA players taking pictures like these social media models. … You’re Angela Simmons, you don’t have to do all that,” Miller said to Vanessa.
It’s unclear to fans if Miller really meant what he said pertaining to Simmons’ spicy photos, but the “My Baby” artist continues to flood his social media pages with shirtless photos of himself.
