Cardi B and Rah Ali exchanged a few words on Twitter late night on Wednesday, April 8. The “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker shared a screenshot of an Instagram post from the radio show OnSite! Ali hosts the popular news show and allegedly posted a fake tweet from Cardi onto the business’ Instagram page.
Cardi reportedly wrote, “I try so hard not to respond to b-tches and they subs that they keep throwing at me. But when you challenge my motherhood is when you got me f-cked up you wack a-s b-tches! Put out a hit record instead of dissin people! Suck my d–ck b-tch. The “Invasion of Privacy” rapper mentioned she never wrote that tweet even though the photo came from her verified social media account.
The 27-year-old artist addressed the fake posting in a now-deleted tweet, and seemingly slammed Ali for sharing the old tweet to the OnSite! Instagram page.
“How you posting fake tweets of me? I been clarify this months ago! When these weirdos make this fake sh-t up. I never wrote this on my twitter and I put that ON MY CHILD! I understand b-tches don’t like me but to put a whole fake tweet about me trying to start Sh-t,” she said.
The 36-year-old Ali, formerly of “Love and Hip Hop: New York,” heard about Cardi venting on Twitter and called her out. She implied that the Bronx native was “sneak dissing” her and blasted Cardi about her husband Offset’s previous infidelity scandals.
The mother of one said she was not “sneak dissing” anyone, and threatened to expose the hardships in Ali’s own relationship. “NOBODY IS SNEAK DISSING IM TALKING ABOUT YOU! Lets not talk about husbands cause I will put your whole situation on blast. I dm you if you wanna deal sh-t like women!Idc what you post about me. DONT POST LIES! Thats not how you brand,” Cardi virtually shouted.
Cardi insisted that the pair hash out their disagreement privately, but Ali encouraged the “Hustlers” actress to tell the world about Ali’s relationship.
Many fans sided with Cardi during the agreement and suggested Ali was fighting with her for attention.
“Rah about to get embarrased,” a fan wrote.
“You’re clearly doing this for attention. Just DM her back, it’s getting weird,” said a second fan.
Cardi and Ali had a falling out during the 2018 Met Gala. Cardi and Nicki Minaj got into a brawl at the event. The “Anaconda” rapper was friends with Ali at the time, and Ali allegedly hit Cardi in the face.
