Tamar Braxton apparently feels like she is back in the first grade. The “Braxton Family Values” reality star was helping her six-year-old son Logan Herbert with his online schooling on Tuesday, March 31. Schools across the country have been required to shut down in the wake of the pandemic, and Braxton was seemingly growing tired of listening to her son’s daily school lessons.
This week’s subject appeared to be mathematics. Braxton uploaded a video to her Instagram page on March 31 that depicted her son learning multiplication. The video begins with the online instructor saying, “6 times 2 equals 12, 7 times 2 equals 14, 8 times 2 equals 16.” Her son interrupted the lesson and shouted, “Pay it!” The instructor continued the exercise by saying,”9 times 2 equals 18,” and Logan once again yelled, “Pay it.” As the lesson went on, Logan continued to scream “Pay it” at the end of every mathematical problem. Braxton’s patience grew short and she eventually asked her son, “Why do you keep saying ‘pay it?’ ” The teacher wrapped her lesson up by saying, 12 times 2 equals 24. Logan uttered, “Pay it” at the end of the lesson, and the “Love and War” hitmaker screamed, “Oh My God!”
The R&B singer was completely over her son’s online lesson. Braxton revealed on Instagram that she was living her best quarantine life before Logan started school. She admitted that she enjoyed making TikTok videos and spending time on her sofa. “I want my couch life back ππΌ I will never complain about being bored again Jesus. ππππ,” she wrote in her caption.
Social media users empathized with the reality star for having to suffer through Logan’s online classes.
“ππππππππππππππππππππππ division is next weekππΎππΎππΎ,” one user wrote.
A second fan commented, “LMFAOO that βOH MY GOODDDβ I feltππ.”
“He is SO much like you πππ pay it,” said a third.
A fourth user jokingly said, “Pay attention π€£π€£π€£ he trying to get you together.”
” ππππ Y’all give me life over there,” commented a fifth.
A sixth user wrote, “π Over here screaming.”
The “All the Way Home” singer is known for her shady catchphrases such as “You tried it” or “Get your life,” so fans suspected Braxton casually said “Pay it no mind,” and her son unintentionally picked up on her catchphrase, which led to him repeating the saying in his video.
Braxton and music producer Vincent Herbert are parents to Logan. The couple divorced after nine years of marriage. The Maryland native is currently in a relationship with Nigerian businessman David Adefeso. She recently revealed in a now-deleted Instagram story that she would love to have a trough of children in the future.
