Masika Kalysha seemingly won the “mother-of-the-year” award. The “Growing up Hip Hop: Atlanta” cast member threw her daughter, Khari Barbie Maxwell, a quarantine tea party in honor of her turning four years old. The 34-year-old model put together the celebration for her baby girl after her large birthday party was cancelled due to social distancing.
Kalysha shared a photo to her Instagram page on March 29 that depicted her baby girl enjoying her tea party. The reality star draped her daughter in a pink-lace dress and a pair of lace-white gloves as her tea attire. Khari’s sandy brown hair extended past her shoulders and she completed her seemingly classy look with a small pink headpiece.
The birthday girl smiled wide for the camera and gave fans a glimpse of her two missing front teeth. Khari clasped her hands tightly together in front of her body for her birthday pose, and Kalysha wrote a heartfelt birthday message to go along with her photograph.
Kalysha’s gushy birthday post to her daughter had fans swooning over their mother-daughter relationship. The former “Love and Hip-Hop: Hollywood” star listed the multiple attributes that made her princess the perfect daughter for her. Kalysha described her young baby girl as bold, beautiful, bubbly, sensitive, fierce, loving, precious, feisty, determined, amazing, fearless, emotional, curious, and brilliant.
She revealed she was bummed that she had to cancel her daughter’s large birthday party and concluded her lengthy birthday post by writing, “A determined mom will make a way. Heres a peak at Khari Barbie’s Quarantine tea party. How did I do?” she asked her followers.
Kalysha’s fans seemingly thought the mother of one did a fantastic job at making her daughter’s birthday wishes come true despite the nationwide pandemic. They praised Kalysha for her parenting skills.

Kalysha and rapper Fetty Wap are parents to Khari Barbie Maxwell. Kalysha claims the pair were in a relationship when their daughter was conceived. The couple split shortly before Kalysha gave birth to Khari in 2016. The Khari Barbie Beauty Founder has openly talked about her struggles that come with co-parenting their four-year-old child. Kalysha revealed on Twitter that the “Trap Queen” hitmaker was not present around the holiday season last December.
