Miss Tina Lawson clearly isn’t in the mood for critics coming on her social media pages.
The mother of Beyoncé and Solange Knowles had a few words for a non-fan. Lawson took to Instagram on Thursday to tell her two million fans her famous corny joke. With her sandy brown ringlets and bangs, she posted a video in which she said, “So did you hear about the corduroy pillows? Yeah, they’re making headlines. Headlines in your head when you lay on it, you know.”
One naysayer slapped down Mrs. Lawson’s joke and commented underneath, “Girl, take them bangs and disappear with your daughter and grandchildren for a little while. We don’t need this right now.”
In a now-deleted response, the fashion designer fired back, “first of all I am not a girl. So try to conjure up a little respect and secondly if you don’t need it then get off my page and go where you like what you see. With love ❤️❤️”
Social media users commended Mrs. Lawson for hitting back at critics.

Lawson posted another “Corny Joke time” video on Wednesday, March 18 to help everyone get through the current pandemic. She wrote in her caption, “I know it’s corny but even if you get a little chuckle, it is worth it at this time. We must keep our sense of humor and stick together love you all be safe.”
Although Beyoncé and Solange didn’t comment on the clip, the girls’ family friend Kelly Rowland did and she wrote, “We need this Ma!! 🤣🤣”
