‘Full Respect For Showing It’s Not Instant’: Erica Mena Shows Body Before She Lost Weight and Fans Love Her for It

Erica Mena appears to be getting her pre-pregnancy body back by putting in the work at the gym. The former “Love and Hip Hop: New York” reality star documented her workouts on social media and showed the struggles that come with losing weight after giving birth to a happy and healthy baby.

Mena shared a photo on her Instagram page of her working out at home. Her workout ensemble consisted of a two-piece matching set and a black baseball cap. The model wrapped her hair in a ponytail and wore a red exercise band around her thighs.

Social media users noticed Mena’s “baby weight” showing in her midsection, and they praised the model for being transparent about her post-pregnancy workout journey.

Mena gave birth in February to the first child for her and her husband, rapper Safaree Samuels. Mena has an older son from a previous relationship. She revealed that her pregnancy with her baby girl was different from her previous pregnancy with her son.

She thanked her fans for encouraging her to stay in shape and revealed that she drinks a ton of water to remain healthy during her workouts.
