‘Stay Safe’: Drake Was Around Kevin Durant Shortly Before He Tested Positive for the Coronavirus, and People Are Worried

On Tuesday, March 17, it was reported that Kevin Durant, along with three other players from his Brooklyn Nets team, tested positive for the coronavirus.

Some have already sent him well-wishes, and at the same time people are expressing concern for Drake, who was with Durant a little over a week ago.

The two hung out at a restaurant and lounge called The Nice Guy in West Hollywood, California, on March 10, and it’s now being said that Drake has self-quarantined in his Toronto mansion in case he’s been infected.

In fact, Drake shared a video of his home gym on Instagram Stories earlier this week and implied that he was in seclusion. “My life for the next however long,” he captioned the clip.

The last photo that Drake shared to his Instagram page, as of March 18, was of himself and Durant at The Nice Guy, and underneath some said they were thinking about whether Drake is OK or not.

“Bro I hope you don’t have corona 🤦🏾‍♂️🧼,” wrote one of his followers.

“How are you feeling?” another person asked.

“Stay safe brother. The ting mawd out here,🙏” someone else warned.

As for Durant, he spoke with The Athletic about testing positive for the coronavirus and said, “Everyone be careful, take care of yourself and quarantine. We’re going to get through this.”

Afterward, many discussed Durant testing positive for the virus and said they felt bad for him.

“Brutal year for him,” someone tweeted, who seemed to allude to Durant being out for the 2019-2020 NBA season with a ruptured right Achilles tendon.

“Not KD,” another person wrote. “This is just getting worse.”

The three other players on the Brooklyn Nets who’ve tested positive for the virus have yet to be identified.
