‘Done:’ Bow Wow Says He Quit ‘Growing Up Hip-Hop: Atlanta,’ Blasts Network and Asks Angela Simmons for Help

Bow Wow said he’s stepping away from “Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta,” and he asked Angela Simmons, his childhood girlfriend, to help him create something major.

“We done w/ Growing Up Hip Hop!” he wrote Wednesday, March 11 on Instagram Stories. “We on to bigger and better things! @angelasimmons lets do the unthinkable #history.”

Bow then wrote pretty much the same message on Twitter and took a dig at the show’s network WE tv.

“We done w @WEtv and growing up hip hop!” he tweeted on Wednesday, March 10. “Get yall s–t together! Until then WE OUT! aint no show w out Bow know that! Good luck.”

Perhaps not surprisingly, Bow’s messages sparked plenty of comments. Some agreed with him that “Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta” wouldn’t be good without him.

“I wonโ€™t be watching if youโ€™re not on there,” one person tweeted.

“I only watch cuz of u,” another person wrote.

But others expressed different feelings about Bow quitting the show.

“Yall boring,” someone chimed in.

“We donโ€™t care,” read one Instagram comment.

“That show weak anyway,” read another.

There was also someone who brought up Romeo Miller, who shared that he quit “Growing Up Hip Hop” during an interview on “The Breakfast Club” earlier this month.

“Say this after Romeo….. Boy bye ๐Ÿ˜’๐Ÿ˜’๐Ÿ˜’๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ y’all just saying it because Romeo said he was done,” one person wrote on Instagram.

In regards to Miller, he quit “Growing Up Hip Hop” because he didn’t care for the storylines.

“It’s not about the money. I’m the highest paid on the network,” he explained. “I had to walk away because I can’t sell my soul for money. I can’t sell my soul for a storyline. It’s never worth it for me at the end of the day.”
