Safaree Samuels couldn’t be more happy to be a father.
The “Love and Hip Hop: New York” star was on daddy duties this weekend and apparently had to buy a pack of diapers for the newborn daughter he shares with his wife Erica Mena. He recorded a video showing him and his friend Sai at a drug store looking at the different diaper sizes.
After apparently going to five different stores, Samuels said they finally found Pampers in the size newborn.
“I just went diaper shopping for the 1st time and it took forever to find newborn pampers size so this will be my dance to celebrate finding em,” the new father wrote on Sunday via Instagram. “Me & @sai_itaintso #rippopsmoke I went to 5 places to find em!! I’m prolly doing it wrong but 😂”
Samuels began swaying from side to side with the diapers in his hand to late rapper Pop Smoke’s song “Foreigner.” Fans related to the excitement of this first-time father, who is stepfather to Mena’s 12-year-old son King Conde.

Samuels and Mena welcomed their daughter on Monday, Feb. 3. He shared the great news through social media, posting a picture of his two-week-old daughter holding his finger.
“These pass 24 hrs have been an adventure to say the least!! I’m a part of the #girldad club now 🙏🏾. Perfection is here ❤️,” Samuels wrote.
So many fans were thrilled for the couple.
“Congratulations safaree and Erica the journey to parenthood has begun and I am so happy for you guys,” a fan wrote at the time.
