‘Beast Mode’: Toya Wright Goes Ham In Double Dutch Rehearsal and Fans Deem Her the ‘Champ’

Toya Wright is apparently untouchable when it comes to double dutch.

The “How to Lose a Husband” author showed off her impressive jump rope skills on Wednesday to her seven million followers. Rehearsing for her upcoming Weight No More double dutch competition, Wright and her two friends practiced maintaining the double dutch form.

As her two friends turned rope, Wright hopped right in the middle and began double dutching. She even did a few tricks inside of the rope that wowed fans.

She wrote in her Instagram caption, “Warming up for the double Dutch competition. Team “weight no more” is ready! 2/16 #prettygirlsjump #wnmjumpoff.”

Wright’s video of her rehearsal was viewed more than 157,000 times and received several comments from fans complimenting her skills.

Wright and her fiance Robert “Red” Rushing launched their company “Weight No More” in 2018 to help with the fight against obesity. Their website mission states, “Once we incorporate fitness into our everyday lives it becomes a lifestyle, not a struggle. It is our responsibility to take care of ourselves and we must do so in order to take care of others. Now is the perfect time to run for your life. Weight no more!”

Wright’s “Pretty Girls Jump” double dutch competition takes places in Atlanta, Georgia, on Sunday, Feb. 16. The mother of two said she’s extremely excited for the event to take place.

“I’m super excited to be hosting my first Double Dutch competition!” she wrote via Instagram on Feb. 1. She added the hashtags “#prettygirlsjump”  “#wnmjumpoff.”

Some of the jumpers will include Wright, Sierra Gates, Monique Rodriguez, Tiffany Foxx and many others.
