‘Throw It Away’: Jim Jones Reveals He Still Wants to Marry Chrissy Lampkin, and ‘LHHNY’ Fans Are Exhausted

It looks like “Love and Hip Hop: New York” viewers aren’t here for Jim Jones talking about marrying his longtime fiancée Chrissy Lampkin.

Jones and Lampkin have been together for nearly 16 years, engaged twice, and still never made it down the aisle. On Monday night’s episode, the couple finally discussed taking their relationship to another level, but it was Jones who hinted at finally tying the knot, not Lampkin.

“From inception, people have always had something to say about our relationship. It’s partly my fault because I proposed to you,” Lampkin told the Dipset rapper. “After that proposal, we didn’t get married because we weren’t ready and you’ve asked for marriage after that and I wasn’t ready. We’re still together. We have a crazy bond, nobody can tear it apart. We’ve been together, what, a million years? And if marriage never happens, I don’t feel a way about it anymore because marriage doesn’t complete us.”

Jones disagreed with his fianceé and suggested that he still wanted to marry her despite her now being against it.

“I do want to get married,” he said. ” I believe every woman who’s in love or is in a strong relationship that we are deserves to have that.”

Lampkin seemingly slapped down Jones’ remarks and asked him what was “going to change” for them if they tied the knot.

During season 1 of “LHHNY,” Lampkin proposed to Jones and he accepted. The following season he returned the action, but the pair never walked down the aisle.

Lampkin told Jones during the episode, “I just want you to to know, I’m with you. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. I know people that get married and then divorced in a year. They get it annulled in six months. We’re fine the way we are.”

LHHNY” viewers seemed over Jones and Lampkin’s talk of marriage after being engaged for seven years.

“Really Jim?!! Real men know what they want and when they don’t want to lose it they lock it down ! I can see if they were 13 when they met but uh uh we talking about grown folk”

“Been together almost 20 years and no marriage??! Man throw the whole relationship away! Just throw it away! 🤷🏾‍♀️”

“She doesn’t want to marry him because she no longer sees a future with him. That’s just how it be when someone has consistently done you dirty”

“Exactly, and I’m not spending 20 years to be listed in an obituary as his longtime special friend. She wasted years with him for nothing smh. Sis don’t convince us you don’t wanna get married now 🤡🤡”
