Erica Mena shocked fans this weekend after posting her eldest child King Conde on social media.
The “Love and Hip Hop: New York” star has been adamant about keeping her son off of social media apparently out of respect for his decision to remain out of the public eye. However, on Sunday afternoon, Mena took to Instagram and shared a photo of herself and the 12-year-old from her recent wedding. She and “LHHNY” actor Safaree Samuels tied the knot in October, and her son was the person to walk her down the aisle.
The wedding photo Mena uploaded, showed her and King in white wedding attire, holding hands and smiling for the camera. The proud mother boasted about the moment and wrote in her caption, “The King of my life♥️ The one and only thing I have so I keep you all to myself ✨🌹.”
Fans gushed over Mena’s post but were also surprised she showed her child on social media.

Because of how rarely Mena posts her son on social media, fans tend to ask about his whereabouts and question her mothering efforts.
In October, the 32-year-old model fired back at a detractor who criticized her becoming a second-time mother.
The person tweeted on Oct 1, “Soooo….are we gonna just not talk about the first kid she had and gave to her Mama to raise or….???”
Mena responded, “You ignorant species love discussing a kid who lives an incredible happy life off social media and TV. Making up rumors about his life just to have some BS to talk about. I feel so sorry for how pathetic you are.”
King is Mena’s first and only child. She and Samuels are expecting a baby girl together. The unborn child is due any day now.
