‘She Need to Be Spit On’: Nene Affirms She Didn’t Spit on Kenya Moore but Wishes She Had

Fans of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” have witnessed the women come to blows several times throughout the tenure of the show, but spitting on someone may be the lowest of the lows for any of the women.

By now, most have seen the “RHOA” midseason trailer providing a glimpse into moments that have yet to unfold, including Nene Leakes attempting to spit on cast mate Kenya Moore during a heated dispute.

Prior to the trailer being released, last November Moore said, “I think she’s pretty much dead to me. When someone tries to spit on you, I think they’re not ever going to be friends with you,” when asked on “Watch What Happens Live” if she and Leakes would be in a better place this season.

Leakes initially spun a web around the accusations, saying that she never spit on Moore, leaving fans to wonder what really transpired between the women. Fans now know tensions boiled over during a verbal altercation, with Leakes saying, “you are a dumb a– bi—,” throwing a piece of jewelry at the new mother, and finally attempting to hurl spit at Moore while being held back by Marlo Hampton.

Leakes addressed the issue by tweeting, “She need 2 be spit on wit all the horrible things she has said & done! From constantly startin sh– wit me all season, lying on me, sayin I’m on drugs & bipolar. Plus that recent tweet she posted so enjoy the moment! I DID the act but DIDNT SPIT! I Wish i had tho! No regrets.”

Leakes has a solid fan base who didn’t take issue with her actions, instead saying she responded appropriately.

“Kenya pokes the bear but as soon as somebody respond they the evil one”

“She’s [Nene] no monster. She just does not let people walk all over her!!”

Others found it difficult to get past the degrading gesture.

“I can’t rock with that spitting on people”

“You’ve lost the light sis”
