‘Did I Read That Right?’: Tamar Braxton Hints at Baby on the Way

A video Tamar Braxton posted to her Instagram account over the weekend is catching fans’ attention for the caption she included on the footage.

The singer shared a viral video of child rapper Zahara “ZaZa” Bean during a Nov. 4 performance of “What I Do?” at the Golden State Warriors game against the Portland Trail Blazers.

“You know my name is ZaZa / I hear you talking is blah blah / I stay fly, I stay fly / I stay fly, I stay fly,” she rapped during the performance. Front Office Sports reported the video was shared to GSW’s short-form video sharing platform TikTok and garnered more than 115 million views.

With those numbers, it’s no wonder the clip made its way to Braxton’s Instagram timeline. She shared the footage to her own account Nov. 9 and applauded ZaZa’s lyrics.

“We not gone act like lil sis ain’t say a WHOLE WORD!!! Periodt!!!! boo booboo bo bo booboo! Tuh!! Lord please give me my daughter in 2020!!🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 #weaintdidnan🤷🏽‍♀️”

But while the talented toddler is a viral sensation, eagle-eyed Braxton fans took notice of the final sentence in the singer’s Instagram caption. After latching onto it, they began peppering the star with questions over whether or not she and boyfriend David Adefeso are starting a family together.

“👀👀Ms Tamar did I read that right? Another little Tamar running around singing about needing toilet paper😂❤️If you a fan you already know.”

“Praying for your 2020 daughter!!!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾”

“Ey hahha yass a baby girl for you that would be a gift Tamara 💕”

“Yes claim it . 👏🏾👏🏾 lil tay in 2020”

“It’s time for you to have baby girl now, so get the kissing and the hugging and make baby boo boo pa boo 👀👀💯”

Braxton has made it no secret that she’d love to become a second-time mom with Adefeso as her child’s father. Even as her divorce from estranged husband Vince Herbert remains official in name only, she gushed on “The Wendy Williams Show” that she would love to have kids with her financial services firm CEO beau.

“I absolutely would love to have some wonderful, beautiful African children,” she said on the talk show last September.

Braxton is already a mom to 6-year-old son Logan, whom she shares with Herbert. She conceived him naturally after undergoing in-vitro fertilization treatments and disclosed on BET’s “Raq Rants” this summer that she still has some embryos from those treatments frozen. One of the embryos is a girl.
