Ashanti Fans ‘Hungry’ After She Posts Sexy ‘Caramel Sundae’ Photo

Ashanti oozed sex appeal this week after showing off her flawless beauty, snazzy fashions and hourglass figure.

The R&B artist took to Instagram on Thursday night and shared several photos of herself posted up at the luxurious W Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. Throwing her five million followers for a loop, the “Good Good” singer flossed her “baddie” looks in a curve-hugging peach and red print dress and a pair of open-toe sandal heels.

Ashanti also sported silver accessories, a pair of bangles, and red sunglass frames to accentuate her look. She jazzed up her style with a bold makeup guise, including a bold red lip, and wore her hair in long wavy tresses. Clearly feeling herself, she wrote in her caption, “Caramel Sundae with strawberry sauce… on a waffle cone..😝” and added in another, “Nights in Lala land.”

In past interviews, Ashanti expressed that she’s committed to staying fit and keeping her trademark curves intact. She’s strict with her diet and puts in overtime at the gym to make sure she has a bikini body year-round.

“If I want to maintain longevity with traveling and being on stage, I have to take care of my body,” she told Parade in April. “I try to get four to five days in a week with my trainer. When I know I’m going for something specific, like preparing for a role, I try to definitely make it five.”

As for her diet, Ashanti is pescatarian and primarily has a plant-based diet. She does, however, have her cheat days likes everyone else.

“I don’t eat a lot of meat. I try to stay away from carbs, and I know diet is super essential to being healthy and maintaining and trying to stay fit,” she added. “But I do have two cheat days, and I look forward to them every week.”

Still independent.

We hope this story was worth your time. For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed Black-owned and independently run. We didn't get here by waiting on ad budgets that were never built to prioritize us. Our readers did that.

Corporate support for Black media has always been thin. Outlets like ours get roughly 1% of the $170 billion spent on U.S. advertising each year, and that margin is shrinking further as advertisers walk back the DEI-linked commitments they made in 2020. That's the backdrop. It's not why we're asking.

The wider picture isn't any steadier. Newspaper ad revenue has fallen more than 80% since 2005, and local newsrooms are closing at a rate of roughly two a week nationwide. When outlets go under, it's rarely the ones built to center a Black perspective from the ground up that get to stick around.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
